Through his magnificent musical skills and memorable compositions, I-Shenko has managed to garner significant experience in the music world and is ready to become the next big thing in the genres of Reggae and Pop.

Brockton, Massachusetts – (press release date) – rising star I-Shenko is bringing about a revolution in the music world through his incredible work in the Reggae and Pop genres. He released a brand new single titled “Take Me Over” on January 15th, 2021, and through the release of this song he’s looking forward to garner enough appreciation and admiration for his skills from music lovers all around the world.

Written and produced by I-Shenko himself, the song is dominated with themes of RnB, Pop music, Reggae, and Afrobeat. The instrumental for the song was composed by Eddy Barboozle from Fresh Out of the Box Productions. The song was actually a reproduction of a project I-Shenko was working on back in 2012, but he never got around to finishing it back then. Recently, as he was working on his upcoming EP, he decided to complete this track he abandoned in 2012. He wrote and produced the entire song, and at the start of 2021 “Take Me Over” was finally released as a single all around the world. So far, the song has received amazing feedback and a whole lot of airplay. It’s also getting featured on a few dancehall mixtapes currently.

“Take Me Over” is a part of the EP I-Shenko has been working on for quite a while now. The EP is scheduled to release later this year and is about 75% complete so far. What makes I-Shenko stand out as an artist is his unique sound and extremely creative sense of music. His artistic individuality is something that deserves a significant amount of credit. This unique sense of art shines through his music as the approach he has taken with his sound is playing around a lot of different genres and experimenting with his music style. He is passionate about a number of different genres such as Reggaeton, Hip Hop, Pop, and Afrobeat, and throughout his career, he has tried to somehow incorporate all these genres and sort of fuse them together in order to come up with his own unique sound. Currently, he is completely satisfied with his style of music as it inspires him to keep going. He’s also very open-minded to a lot of other genres and still doesn’t mind exploring the ones he’s yet to be introduced to.

I-Shenko has made a name for himself in the music scene through his unique style of music and looks forward to continue growing and evolving as an artist. His ultimate goal is to have his music spread across the globe for music lovers to listen to and admire his style of music.

International Reggae artist I-Shenko is a singer, songwriter, and a producer from Jamaica. Currently residing in the state of Massachusetts, the up-and-coming artist has achieved a lot so far in his musical journey. He released his first official song titled “Fight Against Me” back in 2003. He has shared the stage with a number of industry icons so far including Anthony B, Ginjah, Sizzla, Jimmy Riley, Eddie Fitzroy, and many more. He draws his musical inspiration from artists such as Bob Marley, Jacob Miller, Turbulence, 2Pac, Damian Marley etc.

Currently residing in the US, I-Shenko was born in Kingston, Jamaica. He was raised in Portmore as a child, but then moved to Brockton. He has been writing and performing music since when he was in high-school, and then decided to take it to a professional level as he moved forward in his career. The music he has out so far and what’s yet to be released is a true representation of his incredible music skills. He wishes to grow and explore as an artist, inspiring many along his journey.
