Describing his music as “well rounded, educated, yet exciting, and spontaneous”, Cam B is all about the artistry of music. Hailing from the Maryland area, Cam B has been making music since the age of 8 after first being inspired by his father, a former GoGo and Hip Hop DJ.   Music is his art, and his art is his motivation.  Cam B works hard at producing this art in order to pass more than just “empty sounds” to his fans. Cam B aims to put a message to the melody and at the same time keep it simple for the listener.  He doesn’t like to rap about how much he has or what it costs because he feels that it’s more important to explain how he got there. Cam B genuinely cares about what people take from his music and how people see themselves, so he wants his music to help his fans do better, be better. 

 

His artistry and professionalism are both apparent in all of his work, even through good and bad times.  With hits such as “7AM”, and “IDK”, Cam B showcases his life, what he’s learned, and how he’s grown in order for others to better understand their own lives, dreams, and aspirations.  Looking past borders, Cam B wants to bring his art to others on an international level.  Cam B understands the power of musical art and the worldwide reach it can have.  With pure intentions Cam B shares these heartfelt thoughts from his music, ”as I grow I want to reshape what we value as people. I hope to gain influence, which I can use for the bettering of us, and I think I'm different because I really care.”
