Deborah Sims, who creates under the moniker Cream (f.k.a Azazla Zetanica), launched her music career in 2012. She remains one of hip-hop’s most intriguing figures with a successful rollout for her best-known songs ‘BOSSIN UP’ & ‘Lying Ass.’
Cream effortlessly switches between singing and rapping with excellent lyricism on each record. Her close circle, and even those who meet her for the first time, experience joy.
However, Cream’s rise to fame was meteoric, initiated due to a feature on a 2011 mixtape in collaboration with artists like A$AP Rocky, Chris Brown, and Nicki Minaj. Cream’s success took off after she was featured in El Barrio and Soul Central Magazine in London.
She is not only an artist, but she also plays a minor role in an independent film, Disconnected from 2018. This film featured in the Chicago Tribune after selling out theaters all across Illinois. Cream’s waves in Chicago came with hit singles “Krispy Kreem,” which played on Power 92.3 FM and Shade 45 The Drive for months. Shortly after, she gained the opportunity to perform at Layzie Bone’s birthday party at the Las Vegas Beauty Bar. South-Central Cartel’s, Havoc, noticed that performance and was so impressed with her skills, he offered to sign her to his record label Gaimchng3r Entertainment which is how Azazla Zetanica eventually rebranded and transformed into Cream.
