As a result of his environment and the struggles he endured, he started writing at the early age of 12. He began producing all of his music from the age of 15, which was the starting point of his career as a artist. D.Lyte experienced his first taste of the music business when he became one of the first Hip Hop artists to develop on Cayuga Records. This creative venture led to music on the radio and opportunities that showcased his musical talents.
