How many artists have you produced for?
I've produced for a few others, maybe about 6 or 7 other artists.
How old are you?
I'm coming up on being 31. Getting old sucks.
Where you from?
Seattle, Wa.
How long you been DJing and Producing?
I've beem DJing since about highschool, (when all we had to use were tape and CD, none of this automated stuff), close to 15 years off and on. Have been producing close to 6 years, mainly just as fun.
Hardware or software?
Production wise – I use Ableton 9 and Reason, In addition to an Akai MPK225 , APC40 , and Korg nanoPAD.
DJing – jesus, I have soo much. Few Pioneer setups. But always use Serato. Lately been stuck on my vinyl. Thats my baby right there.
Dopest thing to happen since releasing music?
I would say the dopest thing, has and still is state tours. Been out of state, but nothing like being able to see my whole state every year.
Who are your biggest influences?
Biggest influences…oh man. Oddly enough, The Prodigy. Stuff from the mid 90’s. Thats what sort of prompted me into producing.
Want to give any shoutouts?
I would also say my mom first and foremost, shes always wanted me to do what I wanted. To follow my heart, and musics been in my heart for as long as I can remember. My girlfriend, for making things happen since I suck at communication. My friend Craig for being the 1 fan I’ve had forever, and a few others. And of course those that actually come to shows and buy the cds, and merch. They are the only reason I am where I am, and to the artists I’ve worked with.
Something people would be surprised to find out?
About 5/6 years ago, I was living in a park. I had nothing but a backpack with a pair of jeans and 2 tshirts. So, I believe anything is possible.
How much do your beats cost?
Beats are usually about $60 to lease, and $120 for exclusive. And to DJ, depending on where, and what it is anywhere from $300-$2000.
How many productions do you think you’ve made?
I’ve probably released close to 500 or so tracks. But publicly and officially, closer to maybe 20 or so. Few CDs and EPs, few singles as well.
