Jason Rashad “Jas’Unique” Rogers was born on January 12, 1990 in Amory, Mississippi . At a young age, Jason realized that he had an ear for music and any musical sound with a positive note mattered. Growing up in the church “Gorden Chapel of Houlka, MS” Jason Rashad Rogers entire church family could sing so that put Jason in a musical environment. At the age of twelve, Jason Rashad Rogers learned to play the drums by sight. After learning to play the drums, Jason Rashad Rogers became a musician for Unique Voices. While playing the drums for the Unique Voices, Jason Rashad Rogers discovered he could sing. With Jason Rashad Rogers’s outstanding talent of singing, the first song Jason Rashad Rogers sang was “There’s a leak in this ole building”. In 2006, representing his church family alone, Jason competed in a church choir competition of six choirs and placed third place. At that moment on the stage, accepting his trophy, Jason Rashad Rogers realized that music was his passion.
