According to Bro Kendricks El, “I take Moorish Science and convert it into hip-hop form”. Moorish Science comes from The Moorish Science Temple of America, which was founded by Noble Drew Ali in 1913 A.D.The Moorish Science Temple of America is an Islamic sect which preaches values like aiding the downtrodden and fallen, uplifting the community. For Bro Kendricks El, he feels that his music will inspire people because of its positive and stirring message. Previously, he has come out with three singles which have earned him Worldwide attention, including ‘Don’t like me’, ‘Affirmation’, and ‘MoMo’. ‘Don’t Like Me’ and ‘MoMo’ are also accompanied with their own music videos, and Bro Kendricks El plans on shooting the video to ‘Affirmation’ in 4 to 8 weeks.
