Park City, UT — September 23rd, 2022 – Gary Dranow and The Manic Emotions are known for their passionate, and soulful compositions. With their new EP set to drop in December 2022, the Gary Dranow-led band is setting its sights on newer targets.

The established collective is looking forward to dropping a new single each month from their upcoming 12-track ‘Destiny Road’ album and plans on complementing it with an original EP later this year.

An interesting band name, Gary Dranow and The Manic Emotions was a name chosen by Gary Dranow 30 years ago while he was struggling as an unmanaged Bipolar/Manic Depressive.

Grappling with his manic side, the prolific artist became a professional in several endeavors, becoming an equestrian, bicycle racer, motocross racer, ski racer, and racing coach. He also built and sold three businesses before retiring at 50, yet always remained motivated to explore his passion for music.

Gary Dranow has played guitar for over 55 years and has performed since the late ‘70s. His masterful expertise in penning down moving lyricism and captivating rhythms is illuminated in his new EP and forthcoming ‘Destiny Road’ album, set to drop on March 10th, 2023.

In 1996 the artist suffered an unprovoked stroke that left him without his inner ear. As a result, he lost his memory of melodies and his ability to smile. That was until he met a stranger in a music store who told him that his condition was a gift because everything he would write would be original to him and motivated him to start writing.

The song he wrote was titled ‘Destiny Road,’ which became the title track of the album he wrote and recorded from 1996 to 1997. It followed with several autobiographical tracks, such as “Destiny Road,” “Something About You,” “Kisses,” “Mellow Drama,” and...
