Quebec City, Province of Quebec, Canada — July 7^th, 2022 – A Classical album for the ages, Raynald Grenier newest drop, ‘Symphony No. 1’ is undoubtedly a fine and compelling new work by the Canadian composer. The sixth album by the artist, ‘Symphony No. 1 in D Minor’ presents a blend of moving melodies and mesmerizing harmonies.

‘Symphony No. 1’ represents the culmination of Raynald Grenier’s longstanding wish of composing a work for the Sacred Repertoire and features musical Arrangements and orchestrations by Grenier and Gilles Léveillé.

A prolific conductor, Gilles Léveillé and the Global Studio Philharmonic Orchestra beautifully supplement Raynald Grenier in the breathtaking new record. ‘Symphony No. 1’ includes three marvelous and sonically pleasing tracks, namely: ‘1st Movement: In Nomine Patris’, ‘Track 2: 2nd Movement: et Filii’, and ‘Track 3: 3rd Movement: et Spiritus Sancti’.

Having unveiled for audiences on June 24th, 2022, ‘Symphony No. 1’ emanates a grandiose and moving mix of melodies, making for a completely transcendental experience. The artist remains a strong believer of the idea that music is the best antidote for all the ills in this world, and always remains amazed by the intricate ways it is used to build bridges of understanding and tolerance amidst diverse communities, cultures, races, and religions.

“Music is the lifeline of our humanity… this is what I believe in and what I want to contribute through my music,” says the eclectic composer regarding his beliefs and motivations.

Through his characteristically thematic compositions, Grenier ushers audiences into a whole new world, transporting them through the harshness of calamity and desolation to the soft gentleness of companionship. His phenomenal ability to skillfully vary instrumentations throughout one composition, while also holding onto a bold and unique rhythmic drive remain noteworthy.

Currently composing the music for his seventh album, which he aims to drop in the Spring of 2023, ‘Symphony No. 2 in G Minor’, Raynald Grenier hopes to continue touching hearts and minds.

A creative artist and composer, Raynald Grenier’s musical career began in the 1980s as an accompanying pianist, as well as a conductor for various musical and vocal groups. After spending years mesmerizing audiences with his countless stage performances in the United States, Canada, and Europe, Raynald decided to part ways with the stage and turned his mind towards specializing in musical creation and composition.
