The Existential Dread Never Left
Clawson, MI — Indie rock band with post-rock flavor The Existential Dread to release debut album.
Fans of somber, contemplative rock will find strangely familiar, but winding and hypnotic melodies on The Existential Dread’s debut album, releasing on all platforms January 17th.
“The Existential Dread is the work of Justin H.K., splitting his tortured heart into three to perform intricate melodies and hypnotic passages”
The Existential Dread is inspired by bands like Explosions In The Sky, Julien Baker, and Pink Floyd. It takes a heavily instrumental approach with music that flows and transforms as it drives forward, and produces far more sound than three instruments have the right to create. It’s lyrics focus on subtle thoughts of doom and dread that creep in, and delivers them in a low and unaffected stream of consciousness vocal style.
The Existential Dread’s debut album inspired by bands like Explosions In The Sky and Pink Floyd releases on all platforms January 17th.
