ABOUT

The native Puerto Rican is a Classical Pop recording artist, musical director, arranger and composer, but it is his prodigious talent in relation to his mastery of the alto and soprano saxophones in particular that continually dazzle his audience. Inspired by the likes of Chopin, Vivaldi, Beethoven, and Shostakovich, Hamilton has channeled this inspiration expertly his own way, creating a personal style and very profound ID. Since just 11 years old, Hamilton’s musical expression was no less real and no less communicative than language itself, as if the saxophone found him and formed part of his own personal way of connecting with others. In a nutshell, Hamilton offers a wholly unique sound that blends elements of the aforementioned classical greats, hints of the jazz legends (Paul Desmond and Duke Ellington), a taste of Latin jazz (Tito Puente and Santamaria), a glimmer of salsa and pop influence too.
