That is the path Anthony Fields Jr., AKA Jr Da Artist, has chosen as he pursues success in the music industry.

The Washington, DC-born rapper has made music since he was 15, and now fifteen years later, the goal and dream have not changed. Jr Da Artist operates under his independent record label, Legend Empire Records” and beyond achieving his dreams, he also has plans to help others achieve theirs.

“I came from a place of struggle that I made the best of and used music to get through it. I have seen a lot of unspeakable things, but with success insight, I am more than willing to give all it takes,” he said.

Jr Da Artist draws inspiration from many things ranging from his environment, personal experience, life story, inspirational personalities and many others. However, nothing beats his passion for making an impact, making a mark in history, and being responsible for changing as many people’s lives as possible. Jr Da Artist has four children, but he lost one, and he made reference to it in his song, “Lost It All.”

Jr Da Artist has expressed that his greatest fear is leaving the earth and not making the kind of impact he intended to make. In his words, “Dying itself does not scare me. What scares me is dying without making my proposed impact.” His influences are Jay Z, the late Nipsey Hustle and Kevin Gates, which explain why he’s passionate about uplifting his community, loved ones and the world.

Anthony Fields Jr. sees himself as an embodiment of music, and he wants people all over the world to feel everything he represents as a musician.

“My audience is anybody who feels what I feel in my music, and no matter what, my music will speak for itself, and it’s based on feelings and vibration,” he said.

Jr Da Artist believes that his passion, hunger, ambition and consistency will get his talent into the spotlight, and he has no plans to stop until that happens. As he continues growing his brand and record label, Jr Da Artist is all out to prove that one can choose to stand on what they believe in and still make things work out.
