Sauer Sour releases a brand new track: "Without Receipts"

 

Sauer Sour was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois near Rogers and Portage Park. At an early age, he spent time watching his grandparents, who were musicians at the time, record and play all sorts of music. His grandfather, Breno Sauer, a jazz piano player from Brazil, brought his grandmother on as his singer, along with a cast of other talented musicians. Back in the 80s, the duo successfully formed several bands that were eventually signed to Sony/Columbia Records. During this time, Sour became inspired and developed a strong and deep-rooted passion for music. At the age of 13, he began writing journals that contained his heartfelt lyrics. Several years later, he honed his skill and embarked on a new career in music. By this time, he had a series of journals that contained numerous amount of lyrics, songs, and poems.

 

Sauer Sour is an artist with a focus on making groundbreaking Hip-Hop music. As a result, he is able to make catchy music that has a very broad creative range. Currently, he is working on my debut all-original album titled “Reclamation” which is produced by Reepocussion. The arrangement from the start and creation of amazing tracks are a perfect introduction to the duo’s one-of-a-kind vision. Sour’s most recent studio release, "Without Receipts", is actually a perfect example of what it means to set the bar higher. The song focuses on the deceit and captivating lies that a paper trail of currency leaves on a thirsty young adolescent. At slightly over 3 minutes, Sauer Sour’s lyrics manage to stand out with a cadence of his own. "Without Receipts" is currently available on some of the very best digital streaming services.

 

Sauer Sour is determined to be a contender in the world of Hip-Hop and admits to contributing to the “pay-to-play” scheme of things. He has performed at small venues like the RAVE/Eagles Ballroom in Milwaukee with other artists like Tyga, Yo Gotti, Tech Nine, and Bone Thugs and Harmony. During his musical journey, Sauer Sour has hopes of working with some heavy hitters like J. Cole, Post Malone, and ASAP Rocky; just to name a few.
