Where are you guys from?
We are Rubber Knuckle from Widnes in Cheshire Uk. Our two main artists are me (Paul Cartwright) and my good friend Jody Holland.
Describe your sound:
I use acoustic beats and string slapping on acoustic for foundation and Jody embellishes with strumming and picking patterns over layered with harmonised vocals.
Tell us about your new project:
Our new track Turn Up The Heat incorporates all of this… We have a video for it we managed to get on Vevo, Apple Music videos, Amazon and tidal..
Who inspires you?
We are inspired by a variety of bands and artists like the Doors, Kings of Leon, the Beatles, the Doves, Oasis, Arctic Monkeys, the Libertines and Pink Floyd.
Where do you see yourselves in 5 years?
We hope in 5 years to be doing sell-out gigs and amassing a big following on our socials and platforms.
