100grandroyce Teams Up with Dame Grease for 'The Fix 2'

The Fix 2 - All Streaming Platform Link

New York artist 100grandroyce is back with the second installment of his highly anticipated series, *The Fix 2*, a hard-hitting collaboration with legendary super producer Dame Grease. Known for his work with The LOX, DMX, and other iconic East Coast acts, Dame Grease delivers a gritty and cinematic soundscape, perfectly complementing 100grandroyce’s raw lyricism and street narratives. Released under the ALLHUNDOS Ent. umbrella, *The Fix 2* is an eleven-track project that solidifies 100grandroyce as a formidable force in today’s underground scene.

The album opens with the introspective track "Intro ('76 Dust)," setting a gritty, reflective tone for the rest of the project. The haunting production and storytelling in this opening cut immediately pull the listener into 100grandroyce's world, where survival and the hustle are constant themes. The subsequent track, "Heaven’s Door," continues this energy with a combination of soulful sampling and streetwise bars, as 100grandroyce reflects on life’s challenges and the pursuit of better days.

One of the standout moments on the project is the track "Be Me," which was released as one of the album's lead singles. On this cut, 100grandroyce embraces authenticity, rapping about staying true to himself amid the temptations and distractions of the streets. The single’s success highlights the balance between lyrical introspection and braggadocious swagger that defines much of *The Fix 2*.

"Out The Trenches" is a testament to 100grandroyce’s resilience, as he details his rise from adversity, paired with Grease’s cinematic production that feels both triumphant and ominous. Meanwhile, tracks like "The Usual" and "Hard 2 Fall" further emphasize his mastery of vivid storytelling, narrating the ins and outs of street life with a sharp, almost journalistic precision.

The album’s feature track, "All That Money" featuring Breeze Mantana, injects a fresh energy into the project, as the two New York MCs exchange verses over an addictive beat. Their chemistry on the track is palpable, giving *The Fix 2* an additional layer of dynamism.

On tracks like "Turbulent" and "No Clout," 100grandroyce takes aim at the fake personas and fleeting fame that define much of the current hip-hop landscape. His sharp critiques are underscored by Grease’s powerful production, which seamlessly blends classic East Coast grit with modern textures. "They Call Me Hundo" continues this theme, with 100grandroyce staking his claim as a real one in a world filled with pretenders.

The album closes with "Caviar and Crackers," a striking juxtaposition that encapsulates 100grandroyce’s worldview. The title alone hints at the dualities of life—luxury and struggle, ambition and survival—and the track delivers a fitting conclusion to an album filled with high-stakes reflections and unfiltered reality.

Overall, *The Fix 2* is a polished yet raw body of work, showcasing 100grandroyce’s growth as both a lyricist and storyteller. Dame Grease’s production is nothing short of stellar, blending soul, boom bap, and modern trap elements into a cohesive sound that elevates the project. Together, 100grandroyce and Grease have crafted an album that not only honors New York’s storied hip-hop legacy but also pushes the boundaries of where the genre can go. *The Fix 2* stands as a must-listen for anyone who craves authenticity in hip-hop.
