Chuck W Chapman Band’s original new release embodies a raw, unadulterated, and exhilarating experience of Rock music
Greenville, SC —January 1st, 2024 – Following a hiatus from active music performance spanning over a decade, Chuck W Chapman is back and ready to rock the world. Chuck, who would occasionally play gigs and performed at his church in the interim, hadn’t released new music or performed regularly.
However, when the world came to a standstill due to the pandemic in 2020, the talented artist found himself playing and singing at home more than ever before. This led him to revisit some old music files, discovering several tracks he had recorded with his previous band about 12-15 years ago. To the artist’s surprise, four of these songs still sounded fantastic and were nearly complete.
Chuck decided to experiment with them, adding some finishing touches and additional vocals, eventually releasing an EP, wondering if anyone would still care. To his surprise, the band sold the first hundred CDs in just over two months, and the songs started gaining significant streams.
Chuck W Chapman reached out to his old friend and bassist Todd Duncan to form the foundation of the band, having previously jammed together before the pandemic. His next call went to drummer Joe Tanay, with whom Chuck had previously played in his last band, Cartoon Factory, which predominantly performed cover songs.
As Chuck states, “It took us forever to find the right lead player, and I really take my hat off to those guys for sticking around and believing in my music. I think people are going to love the new record.”
The upcoming album titled “Outcast Among Outcasts,” is set for release in early Spring. It will mark Chuck W Chapman’s first release on SelfMadeRecords L.L.C. Describing the album.
