Maryland – June 3, 2020 – Like many, Barsolo was a fan of music his entire life. He would listen to it as he prepared for practice as a professional player, and many times right before the big game. That all came to a halt when he suffered an injury that took him out of the game for good. During recovery, he turned even more to music for solace and in that realized his next career move. It’s like they say when one door closes another one opens. He went for it and from it came his debut LP, ‘Dream.’ 

‘Dream’ features 15 solid tracks that capture a wonderful worldly feel. Having set down roots in France, Niger, Mali, and Morocco, Barsolo has gotten to know the globe first hand and with every new step he takes on the map, he picks up something new to add to his music. All of that culminated beautifully on ‘Dream.’ It follows his five-track EP, and takes him to new levels with his Afro-inspired sound on songs like “Sono,” “Kiss Me,” and “Time To Love.” Alongside him on this record is a cascade of talented artists such as Frenchyy, Mo Dope, Lou Casanova, and Fresh Spirit. With them helping create such a great addition to the music landscape, ‘Dream’ has amassed well over 60,000 streams on Spotify to date. 

Barsolo started out life on one path but was quick to adjust when life guided him elsewhere. He took the tenacity and drive he had on the field and applied that with his love of Afro-beats and trap to create a solid debut LP.
