Although he went on to work in the stock market for nearly two decades, his love for hip-hop simmered within him. Today, he is busy exploiting his freedom as an independent artist to craft original and eclectic beats.

DJ Rick Reed is an American underground beatmaker, composer, and music producer. As a perfectionist, the artist refined his musical knowledge by getting certified in Audio Engineering and Music Production after attending Recording Connection. He has worked with the popular music publisher and producer Jack D. Elliot, and his beats have been used on the TV show One Man Army. Rick’s expertise lies in creating instrumental hip-hop music with styles varying from R&B to electronic.
