Manhattan, New York - June 15, 2020 - Edgar Torres is bringing some heat to the dancefloor with his latest release, “Welcome To My House.”
“Welcome To My House” started as a promotional song for the ‘House Music Community’ app video. That all changed when the track was picked up by Underground Network’s Don Welch. Welch has spent years specializing in dance music, and saw the potential of Torres’ “Welcome To My House.”
The original cut of this song is an eight-minute-long journey through sound that starts right away with a sequence of beats that build up to Edgar Torres’ almost dreamlike vocals that while wispy have a commanding prowess to them. You want to do nothing but stay on board until the end to see where he and the cascade of rhythms leads. Definitely made with the club in mind, “Welcome To My House” has no downtime and keeps audiences entertained from the press of play. A definite sign of a true dance track.
Edgar Torres is a Pratt Institute Creative Visual Artist graduate. It was there he first stepped into the radio booth. He worked for the school’s WPIR station as a disc jockey. That in turn helped him prepare for a future as a composer who works to create original content for other radio DJs as well as up and coming artists.
