Where are you from?

I’m from Jena in the heart of Germany. 

Describe your sound:

The sound of Nixing is futuristic and modern all the way. My signature is to combine club-worthy and energetic drops with emotional breaks in between. 

Tell us about your latest track:

My latest Track ‘Back Around’ is a little different than all the music I made before. Since there were no parties for a really long time now, I wasn’t really feeling in a club-mood when I started this project. I wanted to create a track which is more chill but can also be used in my shows because it still carries much energy and emotions. In the drops you’ll find classic Future House Leads, combined with bouncy Slap House basses. The tension that builds up from the emotional and melodic breaks to the drops gives me goosebumps every time. 

Who inspires you?

The main thing that inspires me is of course other music. Finding new songs in all sorts of genres to me is the best way to get my creativity going. But of course, great moments with my Friends and Family make me happy which also means I get more creative. 

Where do you see your career in 5 years?

In 5 years I’m seeing way more international exposure. I already get heard in quite a lot of countries with my recent releases and I’m working really hard to expand this even more. In 5 years I’ll also play a lot more shows across Germany as well as in other European countries. These are my main goals for the next 5 years. If I’m able to even get some shows outside of Europe, that would of course be awesome but it would clearly be a bonus to my goals.

I’m a dreamer and I’m very dedicated to what I’m doing. I won’t stop till I get where I want to be. I know what I want to achieve with my music and to me it’s more than just a hobby.
