Team Elevation releases another gospel single, “In My City”

Atlanta, Georgia – May 28th, 2021 – Team Elevation released their latest single titled "In My City." This is a follow-up to their sensational hit single, "Find My Way." This new single was a collaborative effort; V. Hill wrote its concept with assistance in writing from Willie J, whereas Luke G does the production. As an encouraging song, this track has been made despite all the contemporary negative and harmful events such as crime, chaos, social inequality, and injustice that are happening in their city. There's a lot of good also happening. People are worshipping and praising GOD, as lost souls are being saved. Team Elevation wants listeners to change their perspective and recognize all the blessings and miracles occurring amid chaos. V. Hill well encapsulates the concept in one of the lyrics, "The devil thought he had it, but GOD said it's time to take the city back…". In this spirit, Team Elevation encourages all to remain motivated and try to bring change in their lives, community, and city. This is a Kingdom Movement where we need to unite on one accord to make this change happen.

The track “In My City” can also be judged on the merits of its music. The team has displayed their artistic skills by making this gospel track a diverse blend of rap/hip-hop and soulful R&B. Far from only falling under the urban gospel genre, this track caters to a wide audience range.

The team has received recognition for its work several times. In recent news, they were nominated in the 2021 Gospel Choice Awards, the Kingdom Image Awards, the Texas Gospel Music Excellence Awards, and the S&M Gospel Indie Awards in categories New Artist of the Year and Rap/Hip-Hop Gospel Artist of the Year. Their previous song, “Find My Way," also received recognition and was nominated for Song of the Year and Gospel Video of the Year.

Team Elevation is currently working on its debut album, Triple M (The Message, Music, & Motivation). Driven by a passion for GOD, Music, Wellness, Kids, and Living with a Purpose, the team has long-term plans for their music and the message they want to impart through it.
