New York City, New York - June 25, 2020 - A conversation between friends inspired ReyLovesU’s pen, and from that came a song that would change his life in more ways than one. “Robbers” featuring the one and only Juicy J is available now exclusively on Soundcloud. 

One of ReyLovesU’s best friends recently got sent to prison, and as friends do - the pair talked long and hard about many things, including the friend’s concern about what his girlfriend would do when he was behind bars. He feared she wouldn’t just leave him, but that she would eventually give her love to another. Touched by those sentiments, ReyLovesU started to craft what would become “Robbers.” Once the original version started to gain traction, it caught the attention of Three 6 Mafia’s Juicy J. The trap pioneer became a huge supporter of ReyLovesU and after some Instagram exchanges, they were working together. 

ReyLovesU came up on New York City’s Lower East Side. An underground R&B sensation, he’s proven to be a solid singer, songwriter, engineer, and producer. He found music early in life and since then has crafted a style that takes the soulful ways of his Dominican roots and combines it with the sounds of the concrete jungle he proudly calls home. He started out busking on the streets of New York City and now has a track out with Juicy J, proving hard work, determination, and skill eventually are worth all the struggle.
