Chicago, IL — The Dan P Project (formerly Men Who Listen) released the 7 song album THE REMIXES on August 11, 2024.
The Remixes is a reissue of all the MEN WHO LISTEN songs released between 2011 and 2015. The tracks have been remixed and in some cases re-recorded and in others have had new musical parts added. Featuring Jeff Anthony on vocals, Dan Pokorni on guitars/keys, the cd features rock styles that vary from full out rockers (“Smash”) and mid-tempo jams (“Cast Our Love Away”) to power ballads like “Go Get a Gun” and “Change In The Blink Of An Eye.”
Produced by Dan Pokorni and Jason Schmidt, the original tracks were co-produced with Gary Loizzio (Styx) and Stuart Epps (Elton John, Led Zeppelin) and featured Grammy-award winning drummer Greg Potter among other top Chicago area musicians.
The Remixes is the first of two cds being released by the Dan P Project. GUITAR VISTAS will be released later this month and is a guitar instrumental album depicting an entire day in nature. The Dan P Project is a music production house which will release music in different styles for streaming, movies and TV.
The Dan P Project comes out of the corner swinging with a rock cd titled THE REMIXES and later this month, an easy-listening guitar instrumental cd titled GUITAR VISTAS.
