Oldsouthgg Has 20/20 Vision This Year

Two New EPs Available Now

Seaside, Oregon - May 22, 2020 - Oldsouthgg realized after one too many shifts at his current gig, that he had to make some big changes in 2020. With two EPs out now, he is ready for the world to recognize his talents. 

In 2019 he release two EPs, ‘Cosmic Hurricane’ and ‘Cosmic Hurricane 5.0.’ Each features a trio of songs that bring about something new about Oldsouthgg to the table. From the first, “Around the World'' delivers a laidback beat that allows the power of his vocals to shine as they command attention from the press of play. On the latter, “Compadres” shows how well he can collaborate with this track featuring the likes of Manny Bank$$ and Dr Weathers. While that same ‘5.0’ EP presents the catch radio-ready “Vigil” as well. Oldsouthgg notes that “Vigil” used a choppa shotta flow and it was a song that allowed him to get some things he needed to get off his chest. 

Oldsouthgg started his musical journey back in middle school. With headphones never far from reach, he was constantly taking in hip hop. Soon enough he realized he didn’t just have to listen, he could create his own music as well. Self-taught every step of the way, this independent artist utilizes what’s at hand; his phone. Most of his music has been recorded on his phone with beats he gets from his talented friends and family. 

Honest, raw, and intuitive just about sums up not only Oldsouthgg’s style but who he is as an artist as well. With nothing handed to him, he creates with what he has and doesn’t back down from the challenges presented when it comes to being an independent artist. With hopes of one day sharing the stage with the likes of Kendrick Lamar and ASAP Rocky, he’s working hard to ensure his dreams become a reality sooner than later so he can say goodbye to his current job and hello to full-time creativity.
