New Hip Hop Single Available Now
El Paso, Texas July 8, 2020 – Qro (pronounced “crow”) delivering nothing but raw honesty on his latest single, “This Is Life,” available now on all major music and streaming platforms.
There hasn’t been a day since the first Black people stepped on American soil that things have been right for them. While most treat this type of systematic racism like it doesn’t exist, the light has been shining so bright on the topic as of late that it cannot be ignored anymore. In times of protest and revolution, music has always been there. Today, artists like Qro are doing what they can with art to spark conversations, push forward, and enact real change.
“This Is Life” comes at listeners from three varied perspectives throughout the track; the realist, the hustler, and the teen. Each one adds another layer to the story of existing while Black in America. The emotion is raw, the words empathetic, and the end result is a beautiful, inspirational track that will resonate with so many.
The North Carolina-native was Inspired by the likes of his mother and J.Cole and started working towards a career in music at 19-years-old while he was serving in the military. In January 2019 he took his big first step and dropped his debut single, “Tough Luck.” Since then he’s been making the most of his time in Texas, building his name as best he can. Then it was getting in front of crowds but now, due to COVID-19, he’s utilizing new and safe avenues to spread his craft to the masses.
