Some albums play like mixtapes; others feel like full-on movies. 暴力 BōRYOKU falls firmly in the latter category. Producer Blaq Medici crafts soundscapes that unfold like gritty crime dramas, while Agallah The Don’s rhymes serve as narration through a world where survival requires wisdom, strength, and unapologetic honesty.
The project’s ten tracks are tightly woven, with each beat carrying cinematic weight. You can almost see the streets in your mind as Agallah spits — his rhymes evoke imagery of alleyways, corner hustles, and moments of reflection under city lights. Features from Planet Asia and Sadat X reinforce this visual style, adding depth to the storytelling. DJ Radiohead contributes his own unique flavor, ensuring the project never stagnates.
BōRYOKU is more than music — it’s a film in audio form, a testament to how hip-hop can capture entire worlds in under an hour.
