This song is dedicated to all those that have lost their mom to serious illness.

It’s been 3 years since his mom passed away and creating this song has been a part of a grieving process. He hopes it brings joy to the listener and also lets those that have lost their mom to cancer or other serious illness know that they are not alone.

The song was recorded, Mixed and Mastered by DJ Chemo at C-Saw Records Studios in Kaiserslautern, Germany.

“For Mom” is an emotional tribute to mothers that have passed and to those grieving. It has touches of Pink Floyd, The Allman Brothers and Everlast with a bluesy, almost unplugged vibe. The guitar solos also give it an exciting flair that add to the emotional content.

ABOUT

Dj Chemo is a musician, producer, dj and songwriter that has been in the music business for over 30 years. He began playing drums at an early age and soon after, started picking up other instruments such as guitar, bass, piano and turntables and then went on to study music production, sound engineering and music theory at Berklee College of Music. He’ s produced and released over 100 songs on the C-Saw Records label and many more elsewhere for other artists ranging in style from Hip Hop to Reggae to Blues or emotional instrumentals and has performed with artists such as Fatman Scoop, Keith Murray, Lil Jon, Scratch(from The Roots), Camp Lo, Ward 21, Redman, Methodman, Dj Jazzy Jay and many others. He has also either dj’d or been the master of ceremonies at many events such as Rock am Ring, the Splash festival, Turkish National Talent Contest and other major European Festivals. Dj Chemo has done radio shows and had regular guest spots on stations such as BLB Radio, Radio 99, Radio X, Big Fm, Antennewest and Planet Radio.
