Both released this year, Mac Tyte’s latest singles showcase a level of sophistication in terms of the production. These are stories and Mac Tyte is ready to deliver their tales. “Prepared” starts with this surprising neo-soul like bridge that leads into a hard-hitting cascade of verses that allow Mac’s way with words to shine. Music has been a part of Mac Tyte’s life as early as he can remember. Marching Band in high school led him to create his own music by 15. By 18 he was living in Jackson, TN where he found himself becoming best friends with Michael Norwood and Maurice “Playa Reese” Thompson. Playa Reese saw Mac’s potential and featured him on “Shake Sumthin” on his ‘Destruction’ album. Inspired by the experience, Mac Tyte started reaching out to other artists in the Tennessee area, producing, and eventually returned to his native Memphis to start Tyte Muzik Entertainment.
