The music video for “Defender” is tethered intricately to Vilani’s cultural heritage and combines a variety of rich traditional dances that have become a compelling part of Ugandan culture. Having dropped on February 25th, 2022, the new track draws listeners into a melodic arrangement, blending elements from Dancehall, R&B, Reggae, and Afro-Pop music.

Motivated by love and relentless demand from her fans, Vilani is set to stage her first music concert on February 14th, 2023 (Valentine’s Day) at Freedom City in Uganda. The much-awaited concert is expected to attract tens of thousands of people, who eagerly look forward to the artist’s magnetic and charismatic presence. Vilani is also set to drop another original single, “Maswanale,” on November 1st, 2022.

ABOUT

Vilani is a young and talented female music artist in Uganda who is signed up to Ugawood Limited. Singing Afro-Pop, Reggae, Dancehall, and R&B music, the artist began her music business in 2019 and has since released several hit tracks. Her discography includes tracks such as “Sweet Malaika,” “Am Shy,” “Nji,” “Romantic boy,” “Defender,” “Maswanale,” and others.
