A Musical Journey Awaits With James Gruft

New Single, “Love Me Now” Ready For Playlists Everywhere

Chicago, Illinois - October 6, 2020 - Those in need of a musical house call, never fear because James Gruft is here with his 2020 release, ‘It Is the Journey,’ and the newest single, “Love Me Now.”

Backed by The Giving Tree Band, James Gruft put his best foot forward when it came time to write and record ‘It Is the Journey.’ Released right as the world was shifting earlier this year, this album is 10-tracks deep and recommended for fans of rock music that is more on par with fans of Bob Dylan and the Eagles. Songs like “Away With Me” deliver liveliness while “Toss Your Dreams” showcases the lyrical prowess found within the confines of this record. It’s a song that has a high level of heart, much like Gruft’s lead single from the record, “Love Me Now.” The depth of the delivery of this song cannot be ignored and would be an ideal addition to playlists on Adult Contemporary playlists across the board. 

James Gruft has spent his life masterfully balancing his life as a physician and musician. When he isn’t healing with medicine, he is doing so with song. Over the years Gruft has fronted several bands, worked with the likes of Paul Amorese, Mike Chiavaro, Ian Walsh, and more, and has also released half a dozen records with the latest being 2020’s ‘It Is the Journey.’
