The UK-based singer-songwriter wanted to capture a myriad of elements in his latest single, “It’s a Wonderful Life (at Christmas Time).” He notes, “I wrote and recorded about the things we most associate with Christmas; from the joy of seeing children excited on Christmas Eve, to the poignancy of remembering loved ones who've passed away, and wishing they could be with us at Christmas.” 

David Jackson wrote and recorded this holiday cheer at his home studio, but it was mastered at the world-famous Abbey Road Studios in London. 

A music vet at this point in his life, the now 44-year-old artist has been writing, recording, and performing for almost three decades now. He’s done everything from hitting the road solo to playing in bands, including opening up for The Specials on their UK tour, and playing halftime at Leicester City Football Club's stadium for over 20,000 attendees there for the Leicester City Football Club vs Liverpool Football Club match. Those are the gigs that stay in one’s heart and mind forever, but while David Jackson has a wonderful past, he’s focused on the wonderful holiday spirit that can be found in his latest single.
